Many times we find ourselves in situations where we wonder why we can't hear from God. A lot of those times, it is because we have made ourselves too busy. If you are too busy to have quiet times with the Lord, and too busy to hear from God, you are facing a barrier between you and God. It's called busyness. Often times we confuse busyness with productivity, when in reality, they are far from the same thing. If you are constantly going going going, but you aren't spiritually growing growing growing, you are busy, not productive. The word says to, "Be still and know that I am God." Psalm 46:10a. It is easy to make excuses when we try to "find" time to spend with God. Stop trying to find the time and make the time that Jesus more than overwhelmingly deserves. Don't just be busy, be productive. Grow.
