Seeking feeling is not true worship. For faith, not feelings, please God. He is always present, even when we are not aware, and his presence is far too profound to be measured by mere emotion. Yes, God wants you to sense His presence, but He is more concerned that you trust Him than that you feel Him. The end goal of worship is not to get goose bumps but to get closer to the father. Next time you worship God, search yourself to see what you are truly seeking: a spiritual high for the day or to die a little more so that you become less and He becomes more.
Hebrews 13:15
"Through him then let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips that acknowledge his name."
